Art for Kids
There is nothing quite like creating with children. As adults, my Art Group Girls who meet every Monday together has become like recess! We always have snacks, play with new art ideas, get gluey, sew, paint and stitch. And even on occasion, rant, rave and bitch! We even go on field trips! I discovered this website for kids this morning and ended up drawing in the gallery. I posted my creation, then went to sign up, but it is a FOR KIDS ONLY site. So I toured the gallery and was so inspired by the paintings, that I am ready to drag out all the art supplies and get busy making stuff. I gotta go now,

JEALOUS.... JUST PLAIN JEALOUS... I recognize Uncommon Objects in Austin. Jealous again...
I'm sitting here being very envious. I am so far aways from all my creative art buddies. Miss them so very much. You don't realize how much fun you have creating with a good friend til you are left with just yourself. haha Love the kids art site. Can't wait for Little Brady to be old enough to create without trying to eat the supplies.

I don't have a tribe here where I live.. have always been a solitary.. but my soul yearns for something like this... I wonder... could i do it? can I take the leap to find some like minded women who wish to create?
