Inspiration for Deb Did It

Once again, Cloth Paper Scissors has inspired me to create some new techniques and gifts. The Peace jackets were born the day after Inauguration as I listened to the speech over and over, filling my heart with hope and change. I wrote notes and quotes which are handwritten along the border of some of the mini quilts. And the little book was a gift for my friend Frances who always adds extra color to my own life. The pages are made from scraps of fabric, felt and my handpainted papers. The magazine features an article how to make this Fabric Treasure Book. And don't forget to look for me and my Gypsy Cats in the next Cloth Paper Scissors issue coming out at the end of this month!! go forth and create!
