Just yesterday when I was having a little bit of a stressed out moment, I asked David to come and snuggle on the bed with me. I was facing my window and looked up to see these beautiful soft flags hanging against my white curtain and I read the words aloud "Breathe" "allow" "relax". With a deep breath I told myself "Breathe deeply. Allow yourself to relax.". It was a hug for myself, from the universe and from a loving friend down in Texas. Your art=Love my friend.
Happy Friday !

Hi Deb,
These are so lovely and fragile. I didn't know that you created these. I need to explore your blog in more depth. The haiku also makes me think of prayer flags, not the art but the way you are describing it. There is something sacred about it. I like it very much. Hope you are well.

You've been busy making lovelies again, I see. I've been thinking about making a set of prayer flags with my own prayer words. Thinking. But so far not acting.
