This is so precious!! I always say that we start to loose our eyesight as we age so that our betrothed will always see us as they did in their youth! My husband calls me gorgeous and I call him handsome!
I consider myself so lucky. So many with the dreaded Alheimers show a mean streak. Jack stays gentle and kind. Greetrs me each morning (and several times a day) with, "hello, Gorgeous"
I'm deeply touched by your post and photos. This is what I always envisioned in my own life, but after 27 years of marriage, we parted. We are friends though.

As the years advance
eyes will see softer edges
but still the beauty
It's wonderful Deb, my husband thinks I still have black hair...at 69, I don't think so.
love makes you that way.
such a heart lifting thought, certainly your sharing here gives all our hearts wings.

That is true love indeed, and a story worth telling!
This is absolutely awesome! I love those faces that show such beautiful character. There is a story in each of those lines.
