whenever i do a bit of sewing, i think of you. even if it's just replacing a button. the picture i have of you in my head, the one that stays with me, is you with a needle and thread, conversing all the while about other things. it makes me smile, and it keeps me from throwing out pieces of fabric that i love. one of these days, i tell myself, i will be like deb. i'll use these.
