Time to Shrine
Rebecca is hosting another Art Shrine Auction auction to benefit The Street Children of Oaxaca and she invited me to participate, and if you know me....I HAVE PLENTY OF CIGAR BOXES!! So, if you are also interested, stroll on over here to see what it's all about. I will be posting mine soon as it's finished....but for now....here is one I made for another benefit last year.

Hard to believe that I didn't know you last year...This shrine is beautiful - I have an entire bowl of heart shaped rocks that could have been used but the wings are just perfect. Love it !
Can't wait to see what you are inspired by this year !
(And so glad you loved the treasures you got at your door yesterday ! I am smiling really big ! I am actually packing up the others for you - all 100+ of them! David is going to get them in the mail on Monday for me as I am taking a trip to see the family tomorrow. Yay !)
home from a too long day...
and how you have lifted my heart!!!

Blessings Deb! Rebecca's a dear friend and I'm so glad you're both participating and publicizing. I'll be doing the same, right after my trip to Mexico in a couple of weeks. Laurie Mika send me a shadowbox frame to use as my base (thank you Laurie) and I'll be using the polyclay tile mosaic approach I learned from Laurie's class at ArtFest and her marvelous book.
