It certainly is like that this morning after a steamy, hot and humid week in Jersey! I love the cool kisses and frisky breezes - in your haiku and from Autumn, my favorite of the Seasons.

And I love that picture - makes me want to cook something Autumn-y!

i love this...strangely reminding me of sacred hearts bursting open with the promise of life.

this is my most beloved season.my one and only child has born in early oct. it is a time of waking up and revitalization.
a time to rise up out of the languid days of summer and commit to the wild unabashed season of life.

love your haiku and where it takes me...

thank you for being a beautiful, invigorating part of my haiku heart.

Deb-This is so beautiful and deeply energizing. A lovely way to prepare for the windy leafy days of Fall. I love your haiku!

Such a vibrant, happy haiku. It makes me smile. And never mind summer - I am jealous of your cool kisses and frisky breezes!

I like what Delphyne said. The photos make me want to cook. Harvest time, when the hot breath of summer is gone and the weather cools. Shut, or at least lower, a window or two and start a pot of soup and make a loaf of fresh bread.
You Haiku said all this to me. Think I'll go South for a while, then come home and cook when the weather really cools down.

Peace.

Time to cook up some chili and cornbread (with a little jalapeno tossed in for zest).
