Haiku my Heart

keep moving forward
one foot in front of other
stillness will kill us

The goal before us
leads us inevitably
through joy, and sorrow.

Sometimes it's so hard to lift that one foot!

Love this photo. Can even see the little specks in the eye!

I like your haiku… I find that even when sitting in stillness there is motion as the breath flows in and out… no motion would be death I suppose.

welcome back dear friend from your texas travels. i hope all is well in your world. sitting quietly beside you candles light. having just been gifted an extended weekend with my grown son i find myself all filled up with gratitude for just being in his presence. and i admit my mother's heart is tender in the freshness of saying goodbye all over again. prayers of safety for our sons, for all sons and all daughters everywhere.

Hello Deb ! ... Robin clued me into your blog .. I love the post with your brother : ) It is a wonderful gift to have family that truly loves and connects with you, you are blessed ! .. Yes .. stillness is a double edged sword. We need it to connect within ourselves yet we need to "move" in so many ways to re-ignite our selves in passion for life.
