Ballerina Dreams

truth is, I always wanted to be a Ballerina

I was better at climbing trees with skinned knees ...

pitching for the girls softball team,
springboard and platform diving.

I  ran a horse fast
hit the tennis ball hard

and walked a Marathon in Maui.

I taught Jazzercise, Dancercise and Disco Dancing...
                         remember the "Bus Stop"?

I was the female version of John Travolta.

but the truth is, I always wanted to be a ballerina.

Today, at 53 I am

Love the photo!

I'm 69 and still ballet around my house, and I don't care who's looking. :)

You have a cute blog!

Yes, you are one, Deb! And a beautiful, graceful one at that! Boy, are you in great shape! I'll have to think of something for the spring--I've been wanting to do aquatic exercise. Could I do it in our very small hot tub (to be filled soon!)? Or if I could just get my husband to dance the Hustle again! Remember that one? :) xxox

And maybe you would have been - if it weren't for the pink TuTu! Recycled jeans - Funky shirts were more your style. So dance your heart out, in whatever attire you chose.
