my son, the Soldier

 On this day, like everyday,
I admire and respect my son,
Sgt Kyle Mackey "Scooter" Broughton.
He is currently a Scuba Diver in The Army,
served two tours of duty in Iraq.

and most imporatntly his wife Rachel,
who is his rock, his tether.
I applaud the devoted families behind our soldiers
who serve now and then
the ones who have come and gone.
Thank you for your sacrifice.

 Boot Camp Graduation

May I add, that I am not a supporter of any war.
Neither is he.
He strongly tells me this...
"Mom, I have a job to do.
And I am good at what I do."

Nuff said.

oh deb. i cannot help but remember each day you waited for the safe return of your beautiful son.

to see him here so young and innocent and then so grown up and full of life experience, then beside his beloved rachel does my heart good.

sending you all love.

i am glad to read your tribute to your son, his wife and to the others that do this job. it's sometimes a thankless task with many who are committed to serving. i am so grateful for him and the others who work to protect their country.
