Ohhh what I would give to lay back and soak in a tub of water. Arthritis has other ideas for me though. I would be able to get in, but would never be able to get out.
I feel your JOY!
That is a YUMMY Birthday present!!! I dream of one day having a clawfoot tub! Soak baby! XOXO
Love this ! Just before Christmas, I took a trip to Montreal and got stuck in a snowstorm. I decidied to rent a room in a hotel in Burlington, VT. To my great joy, there was a jacuzzi tub in the room ! A tit tub as I call it, one deep enough to cover the big bosom God gave me, soemthing I don't have at home. I experienced a big burst of joy when I sunk into that bubbling water !!!
Wishing you the same, Gorgeous One ! So glad the birthday festival has begun early !
It looks marvelous! And I love all the light streaming into the room.
Wonderful!
This is a beautiful blog!
Wow! That looks fantastic. I could use one right now. I have a cold and everything aches. You have a beautiful bathroom. What a great guy to bring your tub in for you. Big Kudos to him. Happy bath day, Deb!

I can imagine you'll spend your entire birthday in that tub...
joyFULL of bubbles

that's a sweet tub room. there's nothing like a bath--no comparison to a shower in my opinion.
what a great post! I love my claw foot bath.. they make you feel so special :)
I miss claw foot tubs, we always had one when I grew up they are the coolest!

I love those clawfoot tubs, lucky girl! And this series of photos is awesome...lol...
Enjoy your baths!!! I'm a bath-lover too. Can't get enough. I've bathed in a boring tub for years. For 13 years I've missed my last house. Each night I sat in a claw foot tub and gazed out over the mountains. The tub was too short to stretch out in -- I had to sit crossed-legged. It was worth it for the view and the memories of my grandmother's old tub.
i love that he let you take pictures of him in the tub! such fun. happy bathing!
Hey, where's the rubber ducky? :)
