Mexico Mondays

 Since we are on a "Holy Tour" that involves Marys and Virgins I will share more with you now some churchly sightings on my recent visit to San Miguel de Allende. There were so many different kinds of moments...prayer, silence, music, youth, really aged, an eerie calmness, yet full of lively buzz. We witnessed weddings, christenings, funerals, and daily worship.  It was a week I will never ever forget.

And if you have a Mexico memory from any part of that beautiful country,
please share your blog link below, so we can come follow your story
and get a taste of Mexico on this December Monday!

Day 6: Virgin a Day

I love the primitive, childlike, colorful drawing of this Virgin of Guadalupe.
She is painted on stone in a church of San Miguel

a sweet weekend

 It all started with a pile of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups,
some cookie dough, bottle of Bogle Cabernet and a Christmas Parade to attend!
I am loving my evolving Cocina!
let the baking begin!
this is how we roll in Carmine, Texas!

Day 5:Virgin a Day

Same neighborhood as yesterday, night time...

my flash, their lit tree, grape cluster and neon Mary...
oh how festive and wonderful behind bars!
