I am. because he is.

I am a Mom. I am always worried and wondering. I am twisting my hair. I am drinking wine too early today. I am pacing. I am burning candles and incense. I am nervous. I am proud. I am hopeful, confident and supportive. I am a Mom. My son is re-enlisting The Army today to return to his calling, his talents and his strength...a Scuba Diver. The above photos were taken on his one year tour of duty in Iraq. I am...because he is.

My thanks go to him for his service, and you are both in my prayers, as are all our wonderful soldiers, and their strong and enduring families.

what a beautiful tribute of your heart...so much love...so much to feel...gratitude...concern... protectiveness...being proud...

may all of our hearts expressing our gratitude form a circle of loving protection around him and all of those serving so courageously...and may we all nurture peace every day in our hearts as we wait for the day we see them all brought safely back home again...

I remember Scooter when he was about 8. Blonde cute smile typical boy stuff. As I concentrate on his pictures and stare into his eyes, I can still see that little boy he once was, but now so much braver, stronger inside and out. I see Scooter the MAN and solider and Hero he is to us all. We support him and are proud of him Deb. Peace to you my friend.
Peace to the World.
And Prayers.
Always prayers.
