comfort

I am finally back online and ready to move into our little nest today. We rented a little "Carriage House" three blocks from our wounded home.It is clean, white and DRY! This week we will develop a plan of action, room by room, how to approach the repairs at Heritage Haus. I see alot of blood, sweat and tears in the weeks and months ahead of us as we plan to do as much of the work ourselves...HANDS ON!
I continue to be hugged and surprised by so many of you my dear friends who take the time to send me the most delightful surprises in the mail....thank you beyond THANK YOU. I am decorating this tiny little home ( same size as our bedroom at Heritage Haus) with treasures made with your hands from your heart right straight into mine!! Hashi, your "comfort" banner swags over my head where I sleep. Kim, your little Love Bird sings all day in my window. Laurie, your art quilt reminds me of sunny days and warm friendships. Mom, your Burden Baskets hang by my doors. Dawn, your artwork brings color to my face!and Monica, your care package will surely inspire me to be creative and UNLEASH something fun! and Linda and Richard at Texas Trash to Treasures...you know where love lives!!
The following came to me this morning from a newsletter I receive from "The Universe!" Ever have that feeling, Deb, that your life, your true work, has not yet begun? Ever feel like you're here for something more than you've yet identified? And that a billion eyes are upon you, just waiting for the prophecy to unfold? Hmmmmmm....... And, have you also ever wanted something so badly that all your wishing, hoping, and praying kept you from seeing that you had it all along?

Precisely, The Universe

You are making it so beautiful! The embroidery with the photo of you and Rachel as mermaids is perfect! Have power, for the new start. All will be allright, keep on smiling... Much love.

Deb this is such a beautiful post... I'm happy that my art can bring you color... Those prayer flags I adore them and want a set of my own! I need to contact this person who made them for you LOL! Oh the gift Laurie made you of the two of us as mermaids is sooooo much fun! She made me a journal for my birthday that has a big butterfly wing on it and then it says Create with the wings... it is all about my online name "Createwings" and the birth of it which is a connection to you too!

I'm happy you have a little place that is just for "you" and Matt. I love you.
