Summer Solstice

So here it is. Welcome summer in all your blistering Texas heat...mosquitoes, fire ants, grasshoppers, snakes and chiggers marinated with 98 degrees and 98% humidity.  We really do love you in some sort of odd, sick, obsessive, lusty way.
We cuss you when you are here, yet we long for you in bitter January days.
I want my red wine to be chilled and I crave watermelon. I eat lots of cucumbers and jicama. I stand under the cold shower three times a day. My bandana is wet around my neck and I want to shave my head.

Is it January yet?

yes....that texas heat is a killer and those fire ants are hated, but it's worth the sound of crickets and watermelon is certainly good!!
stay cool and enjoy the heat at the same time....
take care

As long as it can be january in Texas and June in New Hampshire and places North of here, I am okay with that !
I hope you find some yummy and sweet relief, beautiful Deb.
