uncolored

more than anything -
I want to trust a journey
that I don't understand.

~terri st.cloud~

I made a gift. I needed something soft, calm and white. She loved it.

But all along, as much as I loved the calm, soft whites...
I was longing for the strong, bold brights ...

because I am...
Popsicle dripping and burgundy wine sipping
Sunburned nose and painted toes
Cindy Lauper hair and Filet Mignon rare
I am spinach leaf and pickled beet
Peter Max poster and neon roller coaster
Sunflower petal and shiny hot metal

SHE loved it, I'm sure...
she is..soft and white, candles light, slight of hand with the french chef's knife, can relax and breathe serving you and me roasted beets with mozarella cheese on crusty bread "so easy" she said... all of her brights on the table spread...with her love open wide...a serving of berries and cream on the side!
