Oh, is this YOUR fabric art! I love it! And the haiku embroiders it nicely.
thank you....for this soft haiku.the work of your hands...and heart.xoxoxoxoxxo, rebecca
Just yesterday when I was having a little bit of a stressed out moment, I asked David to come and snuggle on the bed with me. I was facing my window and looked up to see these beautiful soft flags hanging against my white curtain and I read the words aloud "Breathe" "allow" "relax". With a deep breath I told myself "Breathe deeply. Allow yourself to relax.". It was a hug for myself, from the universe and from a loving friend down in Texas. Your art=Love my friend.Happy Friday !
and then you have time to sew ?i'm looking for a wonder woman cape for you for christmas.
Hi Deb,These are so lovely and fragile. I didn't know that you created these. I need to explore your blog in more depth. The haiku also makes me think of prayer flags, not the art but the way you are describing it. There is something sacred about it. I like it very much. Hope you are well.Noelle
You've been busy making lovelies again, I see. I've been thinking about making a set of prayer flags with my own prayer words. Thinking. But so far not acting.
Ooh, now that's creative! "Messages in thread..." I like that!
We love our 'relax' card...
Your blog is beautiful, and your photography amazing!

I can almost smell the scent of warm sun on cotten. Lovely, Deb!
Sometimes simple is just the most breathtaking and most amazing thing of all. LOVE it..Staci
