Liam, my Grandson

This is what 5 months old of wonder looks like

Liam is curious, active, sweet, precious and smart
He tries to talk to me with gurgles and squeals
When we lock eyes, the world stops
I am so in love

The only thing wrong with Liam is that he lives so far away and my heart aches to see him more than I possibly can make happen
Heck, my son is 32 and I wish I could see him more than long road trips and short weekends
So photos and movies fill my heart until the next time this
Angel Child is in my arms again

the following photo is featured this month over at The Hours

sweet moments on the porch

The photo above is my 3 PM feature over at The Hours
a photo project I am proud to be a part of.

Afternoons spent on the porch with my Mom
and stepdad Jack are priceless.
Words not necessary !

Backstory : some days are hard for Jack. It might take 2 hours to eat dinner. And sometimes unknowing what to do with a fork in his hand. Yet when it comes to ice cream cones, the mind never forgets!!

The Hours 2 PM

My favorite local bartender, Christine Zukauskas at Mollys Seafood Shack was my choice to feature this month for The Hours.

Her smile is infectious.
Her laugh is contagious.
Her Boston lick is outrageous.

She calls you by name and always remembers the extra limes

She has a way of keeping your spirits high
whether ice tea, whiskey or rye
or simply that twinkle in her eye

I hope you will join me over at The Hours
for the photo of Christine I chose to feature this month
for the 2 PM hour!!

The Hours

I have been invited to contribute to a one year
photography project "The Hours"

I am beyond flattered and just a bit giddy about this,
as I will be swimming with some mighty big fish.
These professional photographers scattered all over the
United States and then all the way from London to Sweden
to Australia to Canada!!

The concept is fresh and simple, with large amounts of freedom...only rule is you shoot at the given hour of each month. So beginning January, we share 7 am images, February our 8 am images and so on. Moving around the clock until 6 pm in December. I love the idea of sharing the diversity of our lives at one given hour of the day, from so many different places on the Planet !!

It's been a while since I shot with my Big Girl Camera, so I am ready to dust off the lens and do some serious photo shoots!!
These photos were taken during the 7 am hour near my house with my iPhone.

I do hope you will follow along beginning today, every Sunday, and spend some moments during your day with us.
