pages 6,7,8

what I learned when you have artistic block is to grab more coffee or pour more wine, depending on time of day, make polka dots, and take pictures of your pile. Now that feels like ART! the journal page # 6 represents my intimidation of the loaded paintbrush, like a gun pointed at me to create. I prefer sewing, rubberstamping, cutting and pasting. Yes, I sew my paper together, rather than trust the glue. In remaining true to the theme of my January Journal, I am using junk mail, paint chips, sewing pattern tissue paper, watercolor pencils, and acrylic paints smooshed around with sponges.

Boy are you right about getting it down! I don't believe in blocks...the saying makes it more so...just get something done, whatever it is, and when we go back later, sometimes there's a happy surprise.
