It is a beautiful expression of your mom's deep affection for you. There is nothing more precious than time and the work of hands for a beloved child. Clearly you are one. It is a lovely gift and the haiku says it well. Makes me miss my mom. I am so glad you have yours.

I so love this haiku and your beautiful shawl. The haiku does a beautiful job speaking of a mother's love- and the amazing gift when we have something our mothers made especially for us.

You won't fly away with those wings now, will you?

I enjoyed your haiku, and the pictures are amazing. The two go together so well. Thanks for sharing.

All the best, Boonie

How lovely. Your shawl is so delicate and rustic at the same time. You honor your mother's love beautifully with your haiku.
