I cook alot.
I sew alot.
I collect vintage fabric.
I used to make full-size quilts.
Now I just make tiny pieces of art
that satisfy my sewing obsession.
I like to make stuff that is practical, things I use everyday.
Things that make me smile!
So if you can't take the heat
in your kitchen.....
MAKE COOL POTHOLDERS!!

They're awesome. I want to buy one from you.
did you know Miss Deb, that I use to make full size bed quilts too? yes, ha! I have a wardrobe full of vintage fabric and blankets.. too.. xoxo I wanna make stuff with you.. do some online classes!!
Love the potholders. i use the ones you made me all the time!
very clever!!
truly my most beloved form of art...
objects we use in our everyday life,
hand made, embellished, singing with import and personality.
just like these!
These are just the cutest I have ever seen! What a great idea...and they will be FUN to use, too! ♥
These are great.I never throw away old jeans. They make the coziest quilts. You can get several squares from each leg. Plus I cut some squares with the pockets on them. Like this. Thumbs up!
Had some problems posting, but I'll try again. Your potholders remind me so much of my mom who has been gone since 1968. I still wear the aprons she made for all of us every Christmas.
Oh, so very, very pretty!
I love people that cook and sew a lot. They are some of my favorite kinds of people : )
Beautiful project!
Beautiful in their simplicity, like colorful flags on a line brightly waving hungry hearts into supper. I love the denim and sunflowers together.

You almost have me getting my old electric machine out!!! It's nearly vintage now, but then I used to love the old treadle singer machine my mum had, the pace was much slower and somewhat therapeutic! Have you got one?

Love these! They are similar to some mug rugs I make...
These are pretty potholders. For sure mother would love one in her kitchen.
