Very lovely haiku and photo. Simply stated and shown. There is something special about getting down on hands and knees to look closely at weathered wood, or any surface for that matter. The idea of new light intrigues me. Did you move or something? Just wondering'

Peace

Due to computer problems, I'm late visiting the haiku circle, but here I am - drinking from your words. Smiling over sandwashed toes. Longing for beach and waves. You did all that, with just one haiku. You're fabulous!
