Day 4 : Virgin a Day

When I lived in Isla, this spectacular display was right around the corner  from mi casa.
I loved the celebratory feeling of this joyful Virgin
adorned with her festive colors in the bright, warm sunshine!
It made me smile every time I walked by! It includes all the festive colors of Mexico, green frog luck for health and happiness, and all the bling the holidays can bring!
and I can't resist sharing with you the photos of my next door neighbors as they came to my gate singing carols carrying the traditional decorated tree branch "baculos"

I say we should have more of colorful statues everywhere we go! Fill our lives with such bright energy! That image put a big smile on my face too and the children put an even bigger smile! It sounds like it was a life changing trip.
